Human Resources Director

THE ROLE: 

Keyrus has been rapidly growing in the US, both in terms of headcount and geo-expansion! With this rapid growth, we’re looking to bring on an HR Director to support our managers, providing guidance around focus areas that a growing company like ours should tackle. This includes partnering with our Senior Managers as an advisor to ultimately influence the people strategy of the firm. You will also be our employees’ advocate by voicing their feedback and looking for opportunities to make Keyrus an even better place to work. Keyrus currently has a 2-3 person internal/external recruitment team, who would report to this role. 

Successful candidates will have experience in a wide range of Human Resources functions such as organizational development, training & development, coaching & mentoring, performance management, employee engagement, change management, and much more.

Responsibilities 

  • Understand the fast growth of the company and the impact this has on the teams that you support
  • Create strategy to establish an HR Department and lead that department
  • Strategically manage recruitment team to successful meet HR strategy and business goals
  • Serve as a business partner to our Senior Managers, understanding our business strategy and goals, and how it relates to our organizational strategy and people strategy 
  • Provide expertise to Senior Managers as it pertains to talent development, organizational design (ensuring it is at an optimal structure in order to scale), training & development, performance management, and employee engagement
  • Manage HR team and our Office Manager
  • Ensure compliance with federal and local laws and mitigate HR compliance risks around areas such as hiring and firing and recommend best practices
  • Support career development and career path initiatives by building career paths for different roles within the organization with acute focus on how individuals enter, move up, across the organization
  • Advocate and promote HR initiatives and programs that align with our company’s goals and values
  • Identify training and development opportunities for employees to grow their skillsets
  • Gather feedback from employees and provide data driven recommendations for improvements to make Keyrus a great place to work
  • Understand the basics (hiring, on-boarding, off-boarding, paying, contract administration, training, etc.) and execute these flawlessly. This includes partnering with the business unit and HR support staff to ensure consistent administration of all HR processes and compliance with legal and audit requirements
  • Help organize, coordinate and serve as a resource for the annual compensation process

Requirements 

  • At least 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, supporting multiple different functions of HR including performance management, organizational development, people strategy, succession management, employee relations, and etc.
  • At least 2+ years of experience leading teams, including recruitment teams
  • Experience taking a data driven approach to understanding what makes employees successful at Keyrus and how to tailor interview and onboarding processes to meet those criteria
  • Strong knowledge of HR and employment laws/regulations in order to make recommendations on how to stay compliant
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior level managers and other stakeholders to drive change
  • Demonstrated success in taking a data driven approach to develop innovative solutions that balance the business strategy and employee needs
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or equivalent
    • Master’s degree in Human Resources  is highly preferred
