- Develop scripts (using Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate routine tasks.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment.
- Apply best practices for securing AWS environments, including managing access controls, encryption, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems using AWS tools like CloudWatch and CloudTrail to ensure compliance and operational visibility.
- Perform security evaluations and audits of AWS environments on a regular basis.
- Monitor resource utilization, optimize performance, and recommend cost-saving strategies.
- Leverage tools such as AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor to analyze spending and improve efficiency.
- Track system health and application performance with monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot cloud issues, respond to incidents, and provide support when needed.
- Use log analysis and monitoring platforms (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic) to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to understand needs and deliver effective cloud solutions.
- Keep current with new AWS offerings and evaluate how they might benefit existing and new customers
- Participate in design reviews and recommend architectural improvements.
