ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Managing Consultant in our Strategic Advisory practice, you will lead high-impact client engagements from end to end. You will act as the primary client partner, overseeing delivery milestones, shaping change management strategies, and managing budgets, resources, and expectations.
Beyond project delivery, you will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and identifying areas where we can bring additional value. Internally, you will help build our strategic advisory capabilities, and contribute directly to the growth and evolution of the practice.
The candidate must be based in Boston or nearby areas and be willing to travel to the client’s location or to the Keyrus office in NYC 1–2 times per month.”What will your day-to-day life be like?

- Lead and deliver consulting engagements focused on change management, information management, and process improvement.
- Estimate project scope, cost, duration, and team composition; present proposals internally and to clients. Support PMO functions including status tracking, risk logs, and planning documentation.
- Implement change management strategies and detailed plans for change initiatives.
- Conduct ongoing risk/impact assessments and provide support throughout the project to determine potential challenges/resistance and identify corresponding risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and deliver communication and training assets to the change management plan.
- Document work in a structured and analytical manner.
- Create high-quality content and visual presentations (Word, PowerPoint).
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, handling updates, escalations, and new requests. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client accounts.
- Communicate the business value of project work and align deliverables with client objectives.
- Conduct research on industries, technologies, and methodologies to support project delivery.
- Contribute to internal initiatives and intellectual property development.
- Apply structured communication and active listening skills in client interactions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5–7 years of experience in consulting, ideally in change management, transformation, or strategic advisory roles.
- Proven experience in project management and change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR, PMP, Agile).
- Prior experience as a Project Manager or Change Manager in transformation or strategic initiatives.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (visual design), Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to learn from peers and senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in data management and data engineering.
- Certifications in PROSCI, PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant methodologies.
- Experience in business development and account growth.
